Job description Job Overview: We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role will be responsible for assembling various components into finished products according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and will be eager to join a high growth company. Key Responsibilities: Follow safety protocols and procedures of the company (wearing safety shoes, glasses, and ear protection). Use all tools in a safe manner and maintain a clean and tidy work area. Ability to read diagrams and schematics of the product to assure that the assembly is accurate. Ensure the quality of the structure by checking the product is level and square. Attention to detail, specifically when checking components used on structure build like corner posts, roofs, covers etc. for damages such as dents, and scratches. Ability to use torque wrenches to torque bolts to the required specification. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team. Clear understanding of manufacturing information such as front views, bill of materials, drawings, blueprints, order entry systems. Ability to problem solve using oral or written instructions to assemble switchboards, panelboards, and proactively identify missing components. Utilize various hand tools to accurately install material by closely following established procedures for completing assigned functions. Communicate progress of jobs in the area of assignment and identify problem areas or part shortages. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement as well as complete root cause analysis in response to issues with quality or production. Be responsible for quality, including visual inspections of material before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors. Assemble copper bussing according to design and checking for correct spacing from phase to phase and ground. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to multi-task, establish work priorities, and efficiently manage time. Proficiency with using a computer and with CAD software to be able to open and follow design of structure.
